The quality of our spare parts and, particularly, the quality of our blades guarantee reliability and high performance.
Our blades, the added value of our shredders, are manufactured by Satrind through a special four step process that ensures hardness, longest blade lifetime and overall lower maintenance costs:
• Hot drop forging: hot drop forged billets guarantee an optimal distribution of the steel fibres, reducing any possibilities of
microcracks during the quenching and tempering processes.
• Machining to predetermined tolerances: surface, hooks and hexagon are machined to predetermined tolerances.
• Through tempering to the core:it allows to obtain the same hardnes in the core as on the surface.
• Final grinding: the blades are grinded to their final thickness.
All the Satrind's blades can be grinded several times instead of being replaced. The grinding, made directly by our engineering department,
guarantees lower machining time.
